I was on the move my whole life and would like for my stories to reflect how beautiful our entire world is, how much more fun it is to be united than separated, and how bravery always beats fear, even if the road is hard and bumpy.
I was born in Vladivostok and raised in beautiful Kamchatka (both – in Far East of Russia). Every summer I traveled about 8,000 km (5,000 miles) to Crimea to stay with my Grandma near the Black Sea. When I was 10, my family moved from Kamchatka to Belarus, which was about 9-hour flight away from my childhood school and friends. That was the time when I understood that true friends will stay connected no matter where they are in the world, and how one cannot be upset with friends moving away: life goes on, and the only thing one should is to be happy for their fronds, wherever they are!
In Minsk, Belarus, we continue to move around, although locally, and I changed 3 more schools. And when after finishing my last school I went to a university for Marketing and Advertising, the “moving bug” had not left me: I decided to move again – to another content this time – America – for adventures, mostly, by myself, but with the support of great friends. In the USA, I lived in Chicago area for a few years (of course, also moving around three times or so), where I finished UIC for Marketing Management Program while working various jobs and embracing a life of an immigrant.
In Chicago, I learned a lot and met a ton of great people, but then it was an urge for me to move again – to sunny San Francisco! This amazing city inspired me for a career switch to 3D Animation after 12 years in Marketing. And even though many people (including myself) looked at me as if I was crazy, I managed to gather enough courage to make a move and try to follow my childhood dream about creating cartoons that evoke deep feelings – even though all those years later. And now I am on that road, an exciting but surely a hard one. But I am here to stay…
…Because I have stories to tell: about courage, open-mindedness, and curiosity; about loving your home, but also understanding that Home is our entire planet and even the Universe; about struggle, resilience, and keeping true to yourself through tough changes. So that someone can be inspired and brave here and now, without waiting for many years – or their entire life –
to make themselves and the world around them better!
…Oh! And I still love moving around and participate in creative projects all over the world! I am located in the USA, and am flexible to travel all over the World!
